Condition before treatment: Rolled, cracked and torn, with several disfiguring losses. The paper support is very brittle.

Treatment: Humidified and flattened, then backed with Japanese paper and wheat starch paste to strengthen paper support. Losses filled with paper inserts and inpainted.
